All épiCO motorcycles go through a complete safety inspection and maintenance prior to rental and are supplied with:

At épiCO we use a 24 hour rental period. Meaning, if you rent your bike on Monday at 8 AM you can return it on Tuesday at 8 AM for a 1 day rental fee. Any time after the 24 hour period will be charged as an additional day. No partial day charges.

Most rentals and rides begin and end at épiCO’s Headquarters in Cali.

Our typical rental hours are 8am – 6pm (Monday through Saturday).

The pick-up process takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes and the drop off process takes less than 10 minutes. Please plan on allowing some extra time to complete the pick-up process, which includes vehicle inspection, motorcycle orientation, and rental paperwork.

All pick-up & drop-off times must be scheduled in advance.  If interested in an alternative pick-up or drop-off time, please contact us about options and availability.

Absolutely!!

If you signed up for one of our Tours, we will be waiting for you at the airport and drop you off the day you return home. For bike rentals and Self Guided Tours, we can definitely help you arrange airport transfers.

We understand plans can change. We ask that you keep us informed of any changes that will affect your rental. Cancellation and Late Arrival Fees are outlined in either our Rental Terms or our Rental Agreement.

We always recommend that you bring your own gear, as you know it will fit and you will be comfortable for the duration of the trip.

We have basic gear available, helmets, summer jackets and gloves. épiCO helmets are full-face/dual sport style D.O.T. approved

If you need any of this basic riding gear, please let us know ahead of time to make sure it is available at the time of your trip.

If you need assistance with gear options locally, such as boots, riding pants or any other accessory or gear, please let us know how we can help.  We partner with many of the local dealerships and accessory shops and can direct you to best meet your needs.

•   Colombia is Adventure Riding Paradise but definitely not the place to learn or practice your riding skills. 

Riders must be confident on all types of terrain, off road and on road, be calm on heavy traffic and prepared for unexpected situations such as crazy drivers, wet conditions, muddy conditions and long hours on the saddle. This is Adventure Riding guys!

Renters should have experience with the type and size of motorcycle being rented.

épiCO offers a Motorcycle Familiarization for the motorcycle you will be riding.  The Motorcycle Familiarization includes information about the motorcycle specific control location and operation, luggage, fuel, etc.

Each motorcycle rental is eligible for a Damage Waiver that will cover any/all repair or replacement costs that are above and beyond the $2000.00 (USD) damage deposit.

Each primary rider is responsible for their own motorcycle rental and any/all damages.

As examples:

•    if a motorcycle is returned with a damaged front wheel rim and crushed pannier that costs $750.00 to repair/replace; these fees would be deducted from the $2000.00 Damage Deposit and the balance will be reimbursed to the rider.

•    if a motorcycle is damaged with twisted forks, cracked windshield, crushed panniers, and a cracked fairing that cost $3,200.00 to repair/replace; the first $2000.00 in repair/replacement costs would be deducted from the Damage Deposit and the additional $1200 in costs would be paid by the renter –unless covered by the Damage Waiver opted for pre-rental.

Each motorcycle rental requires a $2,000 (USD) damage deposit to be secured with a valid major credit card. épiCO will perform a credit authorization hold at the time of the rental pick-up.

Please make arrangements with your credit card provider for this ahead of time. We cannot allow a motorcycle to be rented without attaining the damage deposit.

Each primary rider is responsible for their own motorcycle rental, any/all damages, and damage deposit.  épiCO cannot take multiple damage deposits upon one card for multiple riders.

At the time of reservation:

•    30 Days Or More From Pickup Date

A 50% deposit of the total rental fee is required to secure your rental.

•    Less Than 30 Days From Pickup Date

The full rental amount is required to secure your rental.

The full rental amount is due if your scheduled pick-up is within 30 days.

If for any reason you are unable to fulfil the rental date for which you have paid you must contact épiCO by phone or email immediately. If you notify us 31 days or more prior to your scheduled rental you can reschedule, once, or request refund payments in excess of the 50% non-refundable deposit. Additional requests to reschedule will be charged an administrative fee of $25.00. There are no refunds if you cancel 30 days or less before your scheduled pick-up date. Always remember to contact us if your plans change.
